In Southwestern Pennsylvania, there is concern being expressed about the health and safety of citizens living near hydraulic fracturing facilities including those that discharge respirable crystalline silica dust used during the process of fracking for oil and gas.
Click on the link above and you may find some ideas useful for Wisconsin residents as well as people who live in other areas where frac sand mining is occurring. Are Wisconsin towns and counties leaving their people "behind in the dust" OR not protecting drinking water when they offer no such help within their jurisdiction? And what about state health facilities? What responsibilities do they have for residents who are already paying taxes expecting that this kind of research and science can help protect people living in their region?

THANK YOU TO THE HEALTH WORKERS IN SW PENNSYLVANIA FOR THEIR WORK AND FOR SHARING THEIR FINDINGS.
