Most of this township is farmland with three rivers that feed into the Eau Claire River: Otter Creek, Bears Grass Creek, and Thompson Valley Creek.

Otter Creek is a town in Eau Claire County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 531 at the 2000 census. The unincorporated community of Hale Corner is located in the town.  According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 35.6 square miles (92.1 km²), all of it land.
